Duke Law Daily Submissions
Duke Law Daily is an automatically generated e-newsletter sent to faculty, staff and students every day during the academic year. Submissions to the Duke Law Daily may be edited for clarity, length, and content.
Event Submissions
Events must be submitted to the Duke Law calendar in order to be included in the Daily. Please visit the event planning web page and complete either the special event request form or the student meeting request form (faculty and staff may reserve rooms for meetings through GroupWise). Once your event is entered into the calendar, it will appear in the Duke Law Daily, in DukePass for law students, on the Law School portal pages, and on the reception-area plasma screens. (Please review the event planning web site for more information about events and publicity.)
Announcement Submissions
Duke Law students, faculty and staff may submit time-sensitive announcements -- unrelated to particular events -- by using the announcement form. Announcements should directly pertain to Law School programs, organizations, and courses; they will appear on the portal pages and in the announcements section of the next day's Duke Law Daily. Announcements must be submitted by 5 p.m. in order to be included in the next day's Daily. Announcements may run in the Daily once per week; they are archived on the portal page for seven days. Please do not use the Duke Law Daily announcement form to submit special events or student meetings. If you have questions about this, please contact Tanya Wheeler-Berliner.
Bulletin Board Submissions
The Bulletin Board accepts postings related to non-Law School events, housing, book sales, and other events and opportunities of interest to the Law School community. Submit Bulletin Board items by completing an announcement form and selecting the Bulletin Board option for posting. Bulletin Board items post to the portal pages, where they are posted for three days (they are archived for two weeks).
The Duke Law Daily submission form requires your LawID and password. Students: information about this identification can be found under Academic Technologies.
Please contact Tanya Wheeler-Berliner for more information on the Duke Law Daily and the Law School portal pages.
